Description:
Ubisoft is a name you can trust in gaming but even though it was able to make a pretty good game with Prince of Persia, another re-boot of the magnificent action-adventure series, it still managed to slip up a bit. Not that the game has anything really wrong about it. It is an incredible game – and using Ubisoft's Anvil Engine, the same one it used for Assassin's Creed, it is a visual feast. You can just see the rich colors and see the smoothness of movement. The AI is incredible too, with an amazing centerpiece like Elika, your companion for the entire game – a stunning piece of eye-candy, yeah, but also an essential partner in finishing the game since she provides tons of additional options with her presence alone. Nothing illustrates this better than seeing her and the Prince perform dual acrobatics and combo attacks. Problem is, she's also my biggest bone to pick with the game. She's a little too helpful – you literally cannot die in the game; she's always there to pull your fat out of the fire. I dislike the Game Over screen as much as anyone but not seeing it at all makes for a very dull game. Still, it's a pretty good game and, trust me, you'll be able to finish it.
