LittleBigPlanet is one of those cute little games that somehow manages to become very deep. It's pretty much so because it has one of the most robust world-creation tools in gaming and it's all in-game! Starting out as one of the game’s cute mascot, Sackboys, you pretty much learn about how to manipulate the game world. Everything in the 3D landscape that has been glued or stitched together is yours to play with; the entire world is your sandbox. The game comes with over 50 levels to prepare you for the task of creating by having you explore the world, collect resources and solve puzzles; all which require a whole lot of teamwork and brains. By the time you're finished, you'll have modified your Sackboy to look like whatever or whoever you want, and you would have managed to learn enough to craft entire worlds – worlds that you can decide to share with others online. This goes the other way around, too – you can explore a limitless amount of original user-created content. The level of personalization is just incredible and the community starting to form around the game is incredibly creative. You're pretty much assured hundreds of hours of gaming from just exploring alone – not to mention creating stuff. A definite must-buy for the creative and inquisitive types.
